Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Our Commitment to You

To ensure we provide the highest level of care and keep our counselling services accessible for those who need them most, [Your Business Name] operates under a strict cancellation policy that requires 48 hours' notice. When you book an appointment, that time slot is reserved exclusively for you.

1. More than 48 Hours' Notice

If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, you can do so free of charge up to 48 hours before your scheduled appointment time.

2. Cancellations and Rescheduling

More than 48 hours’ notice: If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, you can do so without charge up to 48 hours in advance. 

Less than 48 hours’ notice: If you cancel, reschedule, or change your appointment with less than 48 hours' notice, your session fee is payable. 

No-Shows: If you miss your appointment without any prior notice, you are required to pay the session fee.

3. Extenuating Circumstances

We understand that emergencies, sudden illness, and unexpected life events can occur. If you experience an unavoidable emergency, please contact us directly as soon as possible to discuss your specific situation. Thank you for respecting our time and supporting our practice.

4. Booking Agreement

By booking, you agree to our 48-hour cancellation policy as outlined here.

5. Payment Due

Payment for our counselling services is due at the time of booking or at each session unless prior arrangements have been made. We accept payment via credit or bank card, or direct transfer.

6. Outstanding Accounts

Any outstanding accounts that remain unpaid for 14 days may lead to the suspension of future appointments until the balance is cleared. Continued non-payment may be referred to debt collection services.

7. Receipts

A receipt will be provided for all payments. If you are eligible for payment through a private health fund, please discuss this with Lisa prior to your first session. Additionally, please review our privacy policy for more information on how we handle your personal information.
