Welcome. My name is Lisa Bell, I am married with three wonderful boys, and my mission as a Counsellor is to help my clients work through their issues using various interventions, techniques, and strategies through counselling sessions.
I believe you have all the answers within; you know yourself better than anyone, and you have the potential to make positive changes in your life to create the life you wish to lead.
Whether you are an adult or young person navigating general life challenges, or profound grief and trauma, a parent supporting a child with ADHD, or an individual feeling completely burnt out by life's complexities—you do not have to carry it alone.
As a qualified practitioner, I combine a trauma-informed approach and person-centred care with evidence-based interventions tailored explicitly to your unique needs.

My approach to counselling is a 'Person Centred Approach' rooted in empathy, understanding, and collaboration. I believe every individual has the capacity for growth and change, and my role is to provide a safe and supportive space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
In our counselling sessions, I aim to create a non-judgmental environment where you can freely express yourself. Whether you are dealing with anxiety and depression, grief and loss, PTSD, or simply seeking personal growth, my goal is to empower you to develop your skills and strengths to navigate life's challenges and make positive changes.

Welcome!
I am a compassionate, person-centred counsellor who works from a blended and integrative approach, recognising that no two people are the same. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all model, I draw from a range of evidence-based theories and frameworks—including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Art Therapy, Mindfulness, and Strengths-Based approaches—to tailor therapy to each client’s unique needs, goals, and presenting concerns.
My practice is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and respect. I aim to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. Together, we work at your pace, focusing not only on challenges but also on your existing strengths, values, and capacity for growth.
Alongside my professional training, I bring lived experience of mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, grief and loss, stress, bullying, and more. This personal understanding deepens my compassion and informs my practice, allowing me to meet clients with genuine empathy and insight. I support individuals across a wide range of mental health needs, helping them build resilience, develop coping strategies, and move toward meaningful and lasting change.
